<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><strong><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: small;">We want to make a real difference in the lives of the women that U-Turn works with. The childhood abuse suffered by the women had a detrimental affect on their abilities to participate in education within the classroom. U-Turn’s Second Chance Education Project will give them the opportunity to gain a recognised qualification. This will not only boost their self-esteem a real boost but also improve their employment opportunities for the future.</span></span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><strong><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: small;">This was made possible by working in partnership with <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Raines</span> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Secondary School</span> who continues to support this project with guidance given in the planning and preparation of all the material. </span></span></strong></p>

<p>The education programme is for women who have had their education disrupted by the childhood abuse they have suffered. By working in partnership with Raines Secondary School, U-Turn is now able to offer vulnerable women a second chance to achieve a GCSE, a recognised qualification.</p>
<p><strong>U-Turn is looking to raise £10,000 towards the cost of the Education Project Support Worker.</strong></p>
<p>£10,000 will pay for a support worker for the women. Reed Smith are supporting the project costs.</p>
<p>If you would like to donate to this worthy cause please send cheques made payable to &#8216;U-Turn Project&#8217; and sent to our office address U-Turn, St Margarets House, 21 Old Ford Road, London E2 9PJ</p>
<p>OUTREACH WORK   U-Turn is also seeking funds for vital outreach work in both Newham and Tower Hamlets. The outreach workers find women when they are most in need, homeless, starving, and at risk. If you would like to support this vital work our contact details are on this page.</p>
